The Gouldian Finch, also known as the Rainbow Finch, is a small finch native to Australia. Unfortunately in recent years it’s population has dramatically decreased, their estimated number is now around 2500 and they are near threatened. While technically not an endangered species, early conservation will be key to the survival of this beautiful bird.
