The Major Mitchell's Cockatoo is a beautiful medium sized cockatoo found in various inland areas of Australia. Known for their salmon-pink plumage and large, bright red and yellow crest, it is often described as the most beautiful of all cockatoos.
We perched this pair on a Flowering red gum (Eucalyptus leucoxylon ssp. megalocarpa) which is native to south eastern Australia.
