A Bush Stone-curlew standing tall, designed and hand assembled in our home studio. These wooden bird earrings are printed on and laser cut from 4mm cherry-veneered MDF, making them super lightweight and comfortable for all-day wear.

The Bush Stone-curlew (Burhinus grallarius), also known as the Bush Thick-knee, is a nocturnal, ground-dwelling bird found across mainland Australia, famous for its big golden eyes and eerie night-time wailing call.

The front features the full-colour curlew design, with a natural wood finish on the back. Because they’re made from real wood veneer, the grain, colour and texture vary slightly, so every pair is one of a kind. Available with hypoallergenic stainless steel hooks or adjustable clip-ons for unpierced ears.
