ChiChi the Black-headed Caique Hard Enamel Pin

ChiChi taught us all “don’t forget to play” with his wildly playful and adventurous nature. Sometimes life gets away from us and we forget to simply enjoy ourselves. ChiChi is a reminder to spend more time engaging with life, rather than just living it.

Black-headed Caiques (Pionites melanocephalus) are small, stocky parrots from the Amazon basin, known for their bright orange, green, yellow and white plumage and their clownish personalities. They hop, wrestle, roll onto their backs to play and generally act like feathered toddlers on a sugar high, which is exactly why caique owners adore them.

Don’t forget to play.
