The Drummer Cicada, also known as the double drummer, is the largest Cicada native to Australia and also said to be the loudest insect in the world. Cicada's are commonly known for the high-pitched sound they make during the Australian summer. This sound is actually a mating call and can be so high-pitched that it will cause pain to dogs and other animals.

These earrings are printed on and laser cut from 100% sustainably sourced birch wood. Because wood is a natural product, the grain, colour and texture can vary, making each piece unique.
