A pair of Crimson Rosellas, bright, cheerful and true to life. Native to eastern and south-eastern Australia, these medium-sized parrots are instantly recognisable by their rich crimson plumage, violet-blue cheeks and musical calls. They’re quite comfortable around people, so it’s not unusual to spot them in backyards, parks and picnic grounds.

Fun fact: The Yellow Rosella of the Murray River and the Adelaide Rosella of South Australia are actually both forms of the Crimson Rosella, just in very different colours.

Designed and hand assembled in our home studio, these wooden bird earrings are printed on and laser cut from 4mm cherry-veneered MDF, making them so lightweight you’ll forget you’re wearing them. The front features the full-colour rosella design, with a natural wood finish on the back. Because they’re made from real wood veneer, the grain, colour and texture vary slightly, so every pair is one of a kind. Available with hypoallergenic stainless steel hooks or adjustable clip-ons for unpierced ears.
