Eastern Rosella Enamel Pin
OUR STORE IS CLOSED UNTIL 17th MARCH 2025. CHECKOUT HAS BEEN DISABLED.
As its name suggests, the Eastern Rosella is native to South-Eastern Australia from Queensland down to Tasmania. They prefer woodlands, open forests, and plains. However, they can also be found in gardens, bushland, and parks, often seen feeding in grassy patches or trees. These medium-sized parrots are brightly coloured and are relatively shy compared to their Crimson cousins. They can often be heard 'chattering' and 'trilling' in small groups.
Fun Fact: Eastern Rosellas have been introduced into New Zealand, where feral populations can be found on both the North and South Island.
Pale-headed and Crimson Rosellas also available! find them here
