The Fischer's Lovebird is known to be a very active little bird often busy climbing, chewing or eating. They are highly sociable and form a strong bonds either with their chosen human or perhaps another fellow bird. In the wild these birds are native to central Africa and are among the smallest of the Lovebird species.
Fun Fact: Did you know that there are a total of 9 sub species of lovebird? These include the masked lovebird, the black-cheeked lovebird, the Fischer's lovebird, the Nyasa lovebird, the Swindern's lovebird, the red-faced Lovebird, the Abyssinian lovebird, the Madagascar lovebird and the peach-faced lovebird.
