Kakapo Wooden Earrings

Regular price $20.00

The Kakapo is native to New Zealand and is critically endangered, with around 200 alive today. It is the world's only flightless parrot. It is also the world's heaviest parrot, some weighing up to 2kgs! They are nocturnal and possibly one of the world's longest-living birds, some living over 90 years. Conservation and rehabilitation efforts have saved these guys from extinction, but there is still a long way to go for these truly remarkable birds!

These earrings are printed on and laser cut from 100% sustainably sourced birch wood. Because wood is a natural product, the grain, colour and texture can vary, making each piece unique.

Earring metals are - Hypoallergenic surgical stainless steel french hooks with spring and ball.
