The trees are laughing! This gorgeous pair of Laughing Kookaburras is perched on native Black Wattle, with true-to-life colours that bring a bit of the Aussie bush wherever you go.

Fun fact: The kookaburra’s laugh is so iconic that Hollywood has long used it as a stand-in “jungle” sound in films, even though kookaburras are only found in Australia and New Guinea.

Designed and hand assembled in our home studio, these wooden bird earrings are printed on and laser cut from 4mm cherry-veneered MDF, making them so lightweight you’ll forget you’re wearing them. The front features the full-colour kookaburra design, with a natural wood finish on the back. Because they’re made from real wood veneer, the grain, colour and texture vary slightly, so every pair is one of a kind. Available with hypoallergenic stainless steel hooks or adjustable clip-ons for unpierced ears.
