Pacific Black Duck Enamel Pin

The Pacific Black Duck (Anas superciliosa) is a dabbling duck found across Australasia and the Pacific. These beautiful birds are one of Australia’s most versatile ducks, found in all types of water habitats, from isolated forest pools to tidal mudflats, and can be found pretty much in all of except the most arid regions of Australia.

Fun Fact: The Pacific Black Duck is very closely related to the Mallard duck, an introduced species from the Northern Hemisphere. In areas where the Mallard have been released, the two species will actually interbreed.
