Peach-faced Lovebird Enamel Pin

Regular price $16.00

The Peach-faced Lovebird, also known as the Rosy-faced Lovebird, is a small parrot native to Africa's south-western arid regions. These birds are known to have big personalities despite their small stature. Female Peach-faces also have a unique nesting habit of sheading materials like paper and bark and twisting them into the plumage on their rump so that they can carry this material around with them. (When you don't have pockets, you have to get a little creative right?)

Fun Fact: Did you know that there are a total of 9 sub species of lovebird? These include the masked lovebird, the black-cheeked lovebird, the Fischer's lovebird, the Nyasa lovebird, the Swindern's lovebird, the red-faced Lovebird, the Abyssinian lovebird, the Madagascar lovebird and the peach-faced lovebird.

Masked Lovebirds and Fischer's Lovebirds also available! Find them all here

The Feathered Friends collection is a tribute to the birds in our lives, past and present. Our birds are not just pets, but loved members of our family. Check out the full collection here.
