They’re found along the east coast of Australia, in dense subtropical rainforest and tall eucalypt forest. Fun fact: King-Parrots nest in deep tree hollows. The entrance can be up to 10 metres high, but the eggs are laid right down near the base of the hollow, often close to ground level, on a soft bed of decaying wood.
