A pair of Grey Butcherbirds perched on Red Flowering Gum. The Grey Butcherbird (Cracticus torquatus) is a medium-sized songbird found across most of Australia, known for its hooked black-tipped beak, crisp grey and white plumage and one of the most beautiful songs in the bush.

Designed and hand assembled in our home studio, these wooden bird earrings are printed on and laser cut from 4mm cherry-veneered MDF, making them super lightweight and comfortable for all-day wear. The front features the full-colour design, with a natural wood finish on the back. Because they’re made from real wood veneer, the grain, colour and texture vary slightly, so every pair is one of a kind. Available with hypoallergenic stainless steel hooks or adjustable clip-ons for unpierced ears.
