Sulphur-crested Cockatoo Wooden Earrings
A mismatched pair of Sulphur-crested Cockatoos perched on native bottlebrush, one with its crest raised and one with its crest down. Anyone who’s watched a cocky knows that crest says a lot about its mood!
We wanted to do something a little different with our cockatoo earrings by creating mismatched pairs that complement each other. Cockatoos form strong, long-lasting pair bonds and are rarely seen alone, which inspired the whole collection.
Designed and hand assembled in our home studio, these wooden bird earrings are printed on and laser cut from 4mm cherry-veneered MDF, making them super lightweight and comfortable for all-day wear. The front features the full-colour design, with a natural wood finish on the back. Because they’re made from real wood veneer, the grain, colour and texture vary slightly, so every pair is one of a kind.
